It looks like fate  is just against poor old Lum. A couple of days ago he baked a locket inside a loaf of bread for Miss Fedrick the pretty school ma'am. On the locket was written, "to the one I love, from Lum". Of course it was delivered to the wrong person, Miss Lulu Watts, champion weight lifter and strong woman of the community. Lulu took it seriously and it looks like Lum is engaged again...
