Fictional story set in New Orleans Louisiana. Senator Loganberry arrives from Washington D.C to investigate the theft of money from the people by the Louisiana Purchasing Company who frame Jim Taylor in to taking the blame. To save him self from standing trial Jim has to cut the Senator to his size by compromise with the aid of an Austrian siren named Marina.
