Listen My Children

Broadcast: December 9, 1952
Added: Dec 17 2020
The story of the life of Paul Revere, an American silversmith, engraver, early industrialist, and Patriot in the American Revolution. He is best known for his midnight ride to alert the colonial militia in April 1775 to the approach of British forces before the battles of Lexington and Concord, as dramatized in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, Paul Revere's Ride (1861). But this story tells of other aspects of his life beside what is commonly known from the famous poem.
This is the second time Cavalcade used this script but some of the cast is different from the 1951 production.
