Abner attempted to recover some valuable evidence which Squire Skimp intends to use in his law suit against the old fellows, and was caught in Squire's home, and was charged with house breaking and burglary. Yesterday, Squire agreed to drop these charges, in the event that Abner would sign a certain agreement he had drawn up. As we look in on the little community today, we find Lum in the store and library, still angry with his partner for signing that document.
