Jessie and Edna are relaxing in their apartment. Jessie is reading a newspaper when she reads about the murder of a young man. She becomes obsessed and can't get it out of her mind. She keeps asking herself the same question, "How could anyone murder another person". It transpires that Edna went out with the young man and that there is more to the murder than meets the eye.
