This suspenseful tale is about two ladies, one heedless and one alas, headless. To meet them both we shall have to span an ocean and several centuries. The story pf both ladies comes from Sudeley Castle in the Cotswold Hills of England but the tale of the first lady belongs in the twentieth century while the legend of the second comes riding to us out of the medieval past.
