Kitty Foyle was a 1940 academy award winning film drama starring Ginger Rogers as Katherine “Kitty” Foyle a secretary whose involvement with a married, upper-class man leads to tremendous conflicts. Sam Woods directed the film which gained five academy award nominations and achieved one win for best actress.
