There seems to be some spring-cleaning going on in the house of George Kingfish Stevens. The Kingfish and his wife Sapphire are now in the back bedroom washing windows. Sapphire is sitting on the windowsill with her feet in the room washing the outside of the glass. George wonders why they are spending so much time cleaning this room and finds out that Sapphire has rented the room out for $18 a week.
