Terrence Doyle is in trouble but he is not the kind of man to ask for help nor is Starkey Bennett the gambler who has already had Valentine thrown out of his club this evening. Gil Frank is Doyle’s associate and he’s a little different as he’s been beaten up and as Valentine carries him in to his house he knows that here is a man who doesn’t have enough strength to throw him out.
