Don Wilson opens the show, introducing the first song as I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now I'm Drafted. Jack is then congratulated by the whole cast, when Don announces with great pride and pleasure that on Friday May 9th 1941, Jack will be celebrating his tenth anniversary in radio. He accepts graciously, but is interrupted with For He's A Jolly Good Fellow several times! Jack tells a few tales of the early days, before playing Ida on his violin, and Mary reads her poem Old Man Benny, He Just Keeps Puffing Along.
