Jack has received a call that he must meet with the sponsor from Jell-O, Mr Mortimer, who informs him that his Jell-O contract will not be renewed. However, after the shock sinks in, Jack receives the good news that General Foods are so happy with everything he did for the Jell-O brand, that they want him to broadcast for another of their products instead.
