Jack Is Guest of Honor at the French Embassy Dinner

Broadcast: March 15, 1936
Added: Mar 13 2023

This week, Jack and the gang are in Washington D.C. where they're going to meet the French attaché at an embassy dinner party, given in Jack's honor! Jack plays a few bars of Love In Bloom on his violin. Johnny Green and his orchestra play You Hit The Spot, from the motion picture Collegiate, but it has been removed from this broadcast unfortunately. Mary forgot to bring in a poem about St Patrick's Day - and Jack doesn't want anyone to remind her of it - but she gets a phone call all the same... Kenny Baker sings A Little Town in the Old County Down, which also (annoyingly!) has been removed from the broadcast.
