Once again, the football season is approaching its annual grand climax. Excitement runs high as schools big and small try out their teams, and cheer them on to victory. But there's also drama behind the scenes... Right now, Bill Evans, coach of Middleton High Eleven, stands in the classroom, which is deserted, except for himself and an attractive young history teacher. They are discussing, or rather arguing, over a student whose grades have slipped - and Miss Douglas is refusing to let him play football on Saturday.
