Intrigueset in Shanghai in China in 1947 when each day inflation brought a new high to the fantastic cost of living stars June Havoc as Tamara Baronhoff and George Raft as Brad Dunham in their original screen roles. Massive profits were being made on the black market on luxury goods being brought in to China by air. This time Dunham who piloted the plane was almost shot down so he told Raymond to ask his boss for more money. Raymond tells Dunham that his roommate Ellis had committed suicide while he was away. His Boss is Tamara Baronhoff and when Dunham meets her he proposes a partnership venture.
