Lux Radio Theater present I Confess which was a Warner Brother’s 1953 screen hit directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Carey Grant stars as Father Michael Logan who becomes a suspect in a murder investigation after he fails to reveal a confession made earlier by German immigrant Otto Keller, and Phyllis Baxter stars as Ruth.

Earlier Otto Keller who is tired of seeing his wife work so hard goes to the house of Mr Valet dressed in a Cassock to steal his money. However when Mr Valet tries to stop him he accidentally kills him. Racked with guilt he goes to the church of father Logan to pray and confesses his crime. However he then does nothing to confess his crime to the police.
