Inspector Faraday and an officer turned up at the house of Joan Thompson the cigarette girl at the boulevard club, wanted for the murder of Henry Bradson. Farriday accused her of taking him home that night and shooting him as they had found blood stains in her car. She was hysterical and confessed to the murder and apparently gave the gun to Boston Blackie. Of course things are not as straightforward as Farriday would like to believe.
