Two men are staring at a great lonely old mansion on top of a windswept hill. They are detectives Murphy and Smith. Joshua Crawford the owner of the house wants the two detectives to guard $250,000 worth of jewels kept in a vault in the cellar. He is going to use the jewels as bait to catch the seven men that murdered his daughter and son-in-law 10 years previously.
