Yesterday they weren’t so alarmed but when Mr. Davison didn’t come to the office today they began to get worried. Mr. Benson an employee of Davison’s and his attorney Mr. Lamont went to look for him at the old house, which had been locked up since Mr. Davison’s wife had died. Strange things were occurring in the house and when Benson burst open the bedroom door he felt something grab his hand.
