Witnessing a stricken plane that crash lands in the Cairo desert thrusts Rocky Jordan into an adventure that begins with a pair of murdered pilots, a cargo of palm fronds and a horde of savage creatures who sport machine guns! When Sam Sabaaya of the Cairo police explains that far from stricken, the plane that 'crashed' was in perfect working order the plot goes from strange to outright suspicious. One explanation for the intrigue though may well be the cargo... not the palm fronds but what the leaves were protecting... Fine Nubian ivory. Well people have killed and much more for that kind of cargo but when a strange tribe of powerful savage outcasts is involved the whole affair takes on an exotically sinister sinister tone, and just maybe these Memlooks are fighting for even more than ivory!
