Hop and Tank have discovered that Dixie Davenport has withdrawn $50,000 from her Los Angeles bank, which she planned to deposit in a small bank in the desert town. Fearing that Tex Regan, the man they're certain kidnapped her horse, would somehow double cross her, the boys headed for the town in their plane, but were intercepted by Dixie's own plane.
