It's nine o'clock at night on one of the lower levels of the western approach to the mile high lost plateau, somewhere in Venezuela, South America. Since Jack and Doc joined Jeremiah, the little hermit of San Felipe Atabapo, to perform the duty required of them, they passed through the forest, crossed over the rainbow bridge and spent a night at the monastery with the San Felipe monks, and have traveled through the caverns, and past the boiling underground lava lake of a sleeping volcano.
