Old Will Granis is now 70years old and when he was an adolescent man he came down with inflammatory rheumatism which left him with a bad heart. Ever since then his sister Hattie has looked after him. He hasn't even seen a doctor since then as he couldn't see the point of spending money on a doctor. All his life all Will has done is spent his life sitting around. Then Dr Christian wanting to try out his new cardiograph machine offers to do a test on Will free of charge. When the results come in Dr Christian is surprised to discover that there is nothing wrong with Wills heart. Hattie doesn't believe him and is still set on treating Will like an invalid. But Will has been given a get out of jail card and intends to waste no more time sitting on the porch.
