Host of the show Bing Crosby opens the show with the cast, sharing stories of their Christmas and the gifts they gave or received. The musical curtain is raised with the first tune, The Freedom Train. The next song is performed by guest Evelyn Knight who sings Betsy. George Burns has made a record and wants his own career as a singer, and George makes an attempt at singing It Might As Well Be Spring. Bing and George present at satire of Tony Wons called The Hour of Love. It's a great thirty minutes of terrific entertainment.
