Jack Benny is in his hospital bed at Torney Hospital in Palm Springs, being visited by his friends and cast members, who have been teasing him about the vending machines that he owns. When Jack goes home, he sulks, while Rochester tries to cheer him up. Then Jack tunes into the radio and hears that the cast has turned the show into a quiz show without him, so he is even more upset! Finally, Jack falls asleep and has a dream that he has a high-class butler named William Powell.
