Emporia is a city in Kansas, founded in 1857. This is the story of Will White, the legendary newspaperman and editor of the Emporia Gazette, published in the first half of the 20th century. He first rose to fame in August 1896 after writing a newspaper article called What's The Matter With Kansas? which was syndicated across the whole country.
