As we approach our country's bi-centennial, we think proudly of 1776 and our independence, but what about the first people who lived in America? The Indians. Long before we became independent, we had taken away their independence. Someone once wrote "The pilgrim fathers landed on the shores of America and fell upon their knees. Then they fell upon the aborigines." An Englishman, exploring the coast of Maine in the year 1605 captured and killed five Indians, and the bad relationship began. His name was George Weymouth, and this is the story of what happened to his present day namesake...
