Mr Barnes is accused of killing his wife an actress who has never missed a performance but Mr Walters, the producer of the show, believes that she had committed suicide. Peter is on stage during most of the show especially the first and second acts and his wife Vicky’s body was discovered during the second act while Peter was in plain site of the audience.
