This is a story of a family and of a valley and of a piece of land somewhere in the wide rich expanse of the United States. The story has no hero and no heroine. It is a story about people, about the American people who in the past have been and in the future must be everything this country is and can be. The story happens on thanksgiving night and the people of the valley of all ages are gathered together in the valley church to celebrate the richness of the harvest that is to feed us all, our allies and ourselves. It is a story of the earth, which is the foundation of everything.
