That morning harmless Onni Becker had been gambling over at the Texas Trail and in the afternoon he was found in an alley with a bullet in his back. Despite Doc’s best efforts Becker died. Chester had seen him having an argument earlier at the Texas Trail with Hal Clovers who had only been in Dodge about a week. Kitty said it seemed like Clovers was after a fight with Onni.
