There is no Dr Christian story, this episode is dedicated to presenting the awards to the winners of best Dr Christian script in 1945. Before the awards Jean Hersholt discusses, with announcer John Reed King and his co-star Helen Claire, his recent trip to Europe. It is very interesting. Then John Reed King goes on to announce eight winners.

The first prize of $2000 goes to Eleanor Tarshis of Forrest Hills New York for her script 

Second prize of $1000 goes to Joseph C Cook and Simon G Saks

Third prize $500 is James Boston of Cambridge Massachusetts.
