The Lone Ranger is on the trail of the Black Arrow Gang. He and Tonto are headed south from the sweet water. Near Bitter Creek, they saw a cloud of dust ahead of them. A word from the masked man, and Silver increased his speed, with Scout keeping his place beside him. Now, a herd of cattle could be seen moving toward the opening of a canyon, and a solitary horseman rode the point, but just as the opening was reached, the leaders of the herd swung aside and headed for the rider!
