An hour-long drama based on the novel Dodsworth by Sinclair Lewis (1929). In the bustling town of Zenith in the year 1925 lived a self made man of 50. He has a million dollars, two grown children and a beautiful wife all the requirements for a happy life. This then is the story of that man, of Sam Dodsworth and Fran. Fran at the age of 41 and her husband about to retire early decide to enjoy life and spend some time in Europe. However Fran is more interested in immersing herself in what she thinks is the English society life and Sam Dodsworth is more interested in discovering the sites and customs. What he comes to discover is that he has nothing in common with his wife.
