This is the true story of a woman's adventure in Mexico. Dr Katharine Neel Dale was a pioneering missionary doctor. The locals called her Doctora, which in Spanish means woman doctor, and for forty years, she was the physician and psychiatrist to Mexicans and Mexican Indians for cures ranging from tuberculosis through hookworm, love sickness, malnutrition and malaria.
