Doc Adams is frustrated when he loses a patient because he doesn’t have the knowledge to save him and considers quitting. However he is very annoyed when a new doctor turns up in Dodge and wants Doc to increase his fees so that he too can charge more. Doc Adams doesn’t even believe him to be a good doctor. However when Doc begins to lose his patients to the new Doc he decides to quit once and for all. No one seems to mind at first until they get their increased bill and blame Doc Adams but matters get worse when the patients of Dodge fall victim to the new Doc’s unorthodox treatments.
