Harry Archer has just arrived home, and immediately enquires about his teenage daughter Corliss' whereabouts. She's gone out for a walk with her boyfriend Dexter, who Harry isn't particularly keen on... In fact, Harry has got plans for them on Friday night. They're going out to dinner with the Allens, whose son, coincidentally, is none other than the hunky lifeguard at the local pool.
