The second time John Rudyard circus came to Dawson, it was full scale production, and instead of playing at the music hall, a large tent went up on the flats north of the town. Rudyward advertised clowns, acrobats, tightrope walkers, bareback riders, trained dogs, and even a wild animal act. The folks of Dawson were starved for entertainment, so on the opening night, the tent was jammed.
