Death In The Mail

Death In The Mail

Broadcast: 4th November 1951
Added: Nov 15 2011

Stories of the Silent Men, the special agents and law enforcers who silently and for little material reward daily risk their lives to protect the lives of all of us. Their tradition is long and proud yet to guard our welfare and our liberties they must remain nameless – The Silent men

The mail people of the United States render public service of the highest caliber and in the course of that service sometimes lose their life. The loss of life can be accidental but sometimes it is deliberate and it becomes a case for the Silent Men because the post office department, like all branches of our federal departments, has its own group of special agents, Silent Men who stand between us and unexpected destructon.
