A police officer and police woman are in a car in lovers lane posing as lovers in a trap to capture the man known as the Lovers Lane Killer who began killing people four months ago. A man approaches them purporting to be a police officer but they suspect he is a phoney and shoot at him. Injured the man flees but he shouldn’t be hard to find when daylight comes up, wounded and without a gun.
