The Lone Ranger and Tonto reined their horses to a halt in one of the high mountain trails in the canyon, and looked ahead to a rider they have been trailing, who is just now crossing a creek. For three days now, they have been following him - a young fellow, riding a buckskin pony - and nothing has happened. But now Tonto has spotted two lawmen hiding on the ridge, so they decide to ride closer to see if they can hear anything.
