Raoul Morado is in prison waiting to be put to death for the murder of a girl named Rosa who he was supposed to have killed for disturbing a robbery he was committing. However his mother has seen in to her son’s heart and is sure that he is innocent. She contacts Slate Shannon to prove that her son is innocent before it is too late.
