A man was shot from outside by a bullet, which came in through the window. The killer was across the street in a parked car with a high-powered rifle. There had been another two auto killings with the same MO recently and the police suspected Bat McCoy but Casey wondered why he would want to kill his piano player. It seems that his piano player had married a woman that McCoy had a crush on. Casey and his girlfriend reporter, Ann Williams attend the funeral to see what they can discover.
