During most of the year, only two trains per week came through Long Horn Junction, blowing their whistles and never stopping. But in the fall, Long Horn Junction woke up, the loading pens were strengthened, the rows of empty cars lined the siding, ready to take on the thousands of cattle that would be brought in off the range. Then the town filled up with buyers from the east, ready to pay cash. But with them, came the dishonest men too...
