Cheers For Miss Bishop is a delightful story which is just as much a love story as any you have ever heard or read because the heroine found what she wanted in life and as a good heroine should, lived happily ever after. Miss Bishop was a schoolteacher and her love was for teaching and for the job of teaching them.

Martha Scott plays the role of Ella Bishop the same role that she played in the 1941 movie dramatization of the same name.
