George Carpenter should have got the promotion at work but Burt Reynolds was appointed district manager instead. Leonora Carpenter is bitter because Abbey Reynolds won’t let her forget it. When Leonora receives a chain letter in the post saying whoever breaks the chain will meet with evil she thinks about sending it to Abbey. However she decides to send it to the foreign worker, Mr Kerchevski Abbey employs knowing he won’t know anyone else and so he will probably send it to Abbey. However it all goes wrong when Mr Kerchevski’s wife dies and he blames Leonora.
