For six months or more, trouble seemed to hit in and about the town of Morton. A gang was operating in the vicinity, and they were lead by someone who was smart enough to know when and where to hit - and also smart enough to cover all traces so that the law couldn't catch them. First it was the payroll for the mining company a few miles away that was taken - in spite of the fact no-one was supposed to know when it was to leave the bank and who was to take it!
