Josh and Nicole are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and return to France where they met when she was a member of the French resistance and he an American soldier.   They reminisce back to 1946 after the war when Nicole had helped an old comrade in arms of  Jean Barrar get away from the police. Josh had warned her that times and values had changed and that he may now be a criminal. she was to discover that he was the criminal thief known as Le Chat but he was much more than that.
