Adam Raeburn was almost eight feet tall worked for a carnival and was billed as the thinnest man in the world. He wanted to hire Richard Diamond. Raeburn was in love with Rowena who was a dancer at the carnival. Adam knew she was in trouble more than she could handle and he wanted Richard Diamond to find out what it was without letting Rowena know.
