Harry has been in prison for the last three years and in that time his wife has built up his failing business. Now that he is out he expects to take over the business and for his wife to slip back in to the role of at home housewife. However that isn’t going to happen and Harry’s pride is continually dented leading him to desperate measures to threaten his wife, Ruth.
