Brainstorm is a novel about a man who went mad, and for such a book the author, Carleton Brown, faces a psychiatrist and a literary critic have been invited along to the show. Gregory Zilborg is a distinguished psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, and Orville Prescott, who writes daily book reviews for the New York Times. There's no preparation, no commitments in advance, so that means that anything can (and usually does!) happen.
