Rio City, the little town on the American shore of the Rio Grande drowsed under the late afternoon sun. Even the Boundary cafe - the haunt of outlaws from both sides of the river, and blazing with light all night long - showed no sign of life. Suddenly a rider powdered with dust raced into town and reined up in front of a two story building. He had a Sheriff star on his shirt, but not for long. Rick Chalmers was to be the new Sheriff - a good, honest man.
